Applicability of Period of Limitation in Rural Land Disputes: Case Comment
Abstract
Land has been an important socio-economic asset to the Ethiopian rural population in that agriculture employs 84 percent of the population and contributes about 40 percent to the national economy.1 Land is a collective property of the state and the people of Ethiopia and hence not subjected to sale and exchange.
