Assessing Vocational Education Outcomes: With Special Reference to Ethiopia

  • Wanna Leka

Abstract

This paper attempts to elucidate the condi tion
that led to the "ntroduction of vocational programs
into secondary schools in Ethiopia .
The viability of vocational programs correlates
with other development processes . In the ab en c
of this ~ no educational programs could contribute
much to the society . In the Ethiopian situation ~
the role of vocational education has not been
assessed to ascertain its benefits . The
introduction of a program into any school system
should not be an end in itself.
